State of Texas Requirements

Parent or LEGAL Guardian MUST be present with a valid government issued photo ID and the minor must have a birth certificate present.

If the guardian's name is not on the birth certificate, additional documents such as adoption papers or court orders may be required to prove guardianship.

Acceptable forms of ID are: Photo ID, Driver's License, Passport, and Military ID.

No ID = no piercing.

Age Requirements

The Magic Needle only pierces children 12+ for earlobe piercings.
For nipples, tongue, and genitalia you must be 18 and must have a valid photo ID. No exceptions.
Minimum age for most other piercings besides lobes is 13 with parents consent. Some exceptions may apply, such as navels. Call to check if you're unsure about the piercing your child is wanting.

For children 12-17 lobe piercings are priced at $80, and ages 18+ $60.
